Schedule:
- Days
- Saturday – Wednesday schedule
- Saturday – Sunday (9AM - 5PM)
- Monday - Wednesday (7AM – 3:30PM)
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Millwright, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. You will need to troubleshoot problems with machinery, diagnose faults and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of equipment. You will need to adhere to the safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose problems with equipment
- Carry out repairs in an efficient manner, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
- Ensure that all safety switches, guards, and enclosures are in place at all times
- Use the proper and necessary tools required to carry out these repairs (which may include the use of step ladders, extension ladders, or man-lifts to reach elevated equipment to carry)
- Report to the Supervisor of the Maintenance Manager when equipment requires prolonged repairs
- Carry out preventive maintenance procedures as scheduled, making note of any repairs or problems that are noticed.
- Enter related information into a computer system to ensure proper record-keeping.
- Must comply with LHLS’ safety policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 433A Millwright License with 2+ years of experience
- Great troubleshooting ability
- Willing to work shift work and overtime
- Computer skills/ Data entry
- Ability to work alone
Bonus Points:
- Steam system knowledge/ understanding
- Welding and Fabrication experience
- Knowledge of various types of conveyor belt lacing techniques
